Beaches
Zrce
Zrce is the nicest and most attractive beach in Novalja. The pebbly coastal area can fit thousands of swimmers in the peak season. On the beach you can use a variety of sports, recreational and entertainment facilities and quality restaurants, there are discos Aquarius, Calypso, Papaya and many small cafes for entertainment at night and day. Moreover Zrće holds a blue flag, which means clear water, showers, toilets and lifeguards…
Caska
It is located east of Novalja, on the site of a Roman city which, according to legend, died and sank in an earthquake in the fourth century, whose remains can be found near the beach and the sea bottom. Access to the sea is mostly sand and gravel. The sea bottom is very steep, sloping beach which makes it very deep. There are restaurants and some recreational activities on the beach.
Planjka
The beautiful sandy beach which is located northwest of Novalja, along the eastern coast of Novalja bay. The beach is covered with fine sand, warm and shallow and well-kept. The Ideal beach for parents with small children. It has restaurants and a variety of sports and recreational facilities. Since the summer of 2004 the beach has a Blue Flag.
Strasko
Beach Strasko, with the same name campsite is located south of Novalja, the bay toward the open sea. It is about 1.5 kilometers of slightly stony beaches and so is the sea, but after a few yards you get to the sandy bottom. Along the beach there is one of the most naturally beautiful campgrounds on the Adriatic, with catering, entertainment, sports and recreation facilities. The beach is very popular because it is located in a beautiful pine forest with lots of natural shade. Since the summer of 2004. The beach has Blue Flag.
Sveti Duh
Sand – a pebbly beach in the private campsite Sveti Duh “Holy Spirit”. Half of the beach is reserved for nudists.
Ručica
Undiscovered sandy beach which is accessible through a picturesque area called the Canyon Metajne wich captures the clean transparent sea and beautiful lunar landscape.
Babe
Beach lies in a shallow cove west of Novalja. This is the shallowest and warmest among Novalja beaches with fine sand and the narrow coastal strip. The beach can be reached only on foot, and it has no restaurants or sports facilities.
